Description: ACTIVAS project has multiple objectives around the conception of interactive and collaborative environments that support in a non intrusive way the assessment both at the inhabitants functional and their healthy life habits levels. These spaces should be adaptable along time to evolve according to the needs of the users. The conceptionm validation, assessment and exploitation of ICT for the construction of intelligent, safe and healthy environments. Establishment of connected collaborative networks for promoting a larger and better effort articulation for informal care, adapted for the new assistencial paradigms and empowering the proximity care networks. The multidisciplinary ActiVas project promotes a disruptive response to the challenges addressed by the aging of the population, in terms of the environment, cities and built spaces, creating new opportunities for economic agents from different sectors. The objective of this project will be to reach market segments where the elderly population is more concentrated, such as residential or hospital. In short, it is expected that it will be possible to achieve and validate an assisted environment “Active, Safe and Healthy Life” based on a pilot that will integrate solutions developed for new environments and spaces - personalized lifelong health, intervening in several aspects: Support to the proximity care network (support to informal caregivers in the management of daily activities, web interface for filling in patient information, activity management; app with information of a playful, social nature); Promotion of human functionality through physical and cognitive stimulation; Interaction of the built space through its digitization using augmented reality technologies; Development of new materials or adaptation of the existing materials manufacturing processes that allow the integration (embedded) of sensors used by home automation solutions; Development of adaptive and transformable modular structures; Integration of sensory systems, monitoring, furniture and equipment in new or existing solutions of prefabricated modular building systems, allowing for the rapid mutation of the set or isolated element and responding to programmatic premises or specific human needs.
