Pedro Alexandre Dias Martins

Assistant Professor - Universidade de Coimbra

Pedro Martins received both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Currently, he is an Auxiliar Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra. He is senior researcher in both the Institute of Systems and Robotics (ISR), University of Coimbra and the Centre for Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Processes (CEMMPRE), University of Coimbra, Portugal. His main research include non-rigid image registration, deformable models, facial landmark localization, visual tracking, face biometrics and emotion recognition.
