Pedro Camargo

Pedro Sampaio de Camargo is a B.Sc. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC), Portugal. He is a collaborator at the Human-Centered Mobile Robotics Lab (HCRM-lab) at the Institute of Systems and Robotics (ISR-UC). Prior to his academic pursuits in engineering, he managed high-risk environments as a military commander and later as a cybersecurity analyst and consultant. At the HCRM-lab, his work focuses on hardware development, microcontrollers, cybersecurity integration, and ROS (Robot Operating System). His broader research interests encompass autonomous robotics, edge computing architectures, agentic AI, and the future integration of humans and machines.
