Pedro Dias
Laboratory Technician - Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica - Coimbra (ISR-UC)
He is a Researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics of the University of Coimbra, where he contributes to the RepowerE(d)U project by developing interactive Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality applications for training in smart energy solutions. His work focuses on Unity-based AR apps for mobile devices and VR environments that combine visual demonstration, interactivity, and hands-on learning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Game Development Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave and previously worked as a Game Development Workshop Leader at TUMO Coimbra, guiding young students in game design, level design, programming, and interactive experiences. For the academic year 2025/2026, he is enrolled in the Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Coimbra. His main interests include game development, immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, and the use of interactive media to support learning and visualization of complex concepts.
