Xin Ma

Xin Ma received his B.Sc. degree in Robotics Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai, China, in July 2020. He earned his M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, in October 2025. His master’s thesis focused on the development of a safety-aware motion planning pipeline for human–robot interaction, incorporating short-horizon human motion fo Veríssimoin recasting. Since September 2026, he has been pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. His research is conducted within the REMORA project, “Swarm Robotics for the Improvement and Monitoring of Aquatic Resources,” under the supervision of Prof. Rui P. Rocha.
