Lot 2: Impact Assessment study Power Distribution and Small Transformers

ISR performed this impact assessment study for preparing the implementation of the new Ecodesign or Energy Related Products (ERP) Directive (2009/125/EC) related to power and distribution transformers, on behalf of the European Commission. The objective of this study was to analyze the potential energy savings resulting from including minimum energy efficiency requirement in public procurement processes and the granting of financial incentives to the most efficient product classes. The information provided herein can serve to prepare for subsequent phases, including prepare a paper for the Consultation Forum and finally draft regulation for the Regulatory Committee.
