DATA CENTERS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND IMPACTS ON ENERGY TRANSITION

The potential impacts and major energy challenges of “DATA CENTERS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND IMPACTS ON ENERGY TRANSITION”, were presented by Nuno Quaresma from ISR-UC on January 20, 2026 in the National Meeting of the College of Electrical Engineering, organized by the Order of Engineers, held at the Coimbra Business School. The presentation discussed the use of sustainable energy technologies, including the application of energy-efficient equipment and demand response in data centers.
