Paula Fonseca

Paula Fonseca received an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Coimbra in 1995. From 1994 to 1995 she worked for the Department of Municipal Buildings from the Municipality of Coimbra. Since 1995, she has been researcher in ISR-University of Coimbra for the areas of energy planning, renewable energies, energy conservation and Demand-Side Management. She has been involved on several EU projects to promote energy efficiency, with collaboration with the industry, local and regional authorities, building operators and electricity utilities. She was a member of the consultant team who has prepared the Portuguese Plans of Energy Efficiency Promotion in 2007, 2008, 2009/2010 and 2011/2012. She is co-author of over twenty scientific publications and numerous technical reports.
